About

Cynthio Syndicate provides curated opportunities from founders who have been prepared, assessed, and supported through the Cynthio Ventures platform. Founders must progress through Cynthio's investor readiness program, pass rigorous due diligence processes and demonstrate verified metrics prior to being accepted onto the syndicate.

Cynthio helps founders raise capital. From improving their narrative to finding product market fit. Cynthio supports founders by forming a sharper structure to their investment process through readiness checks, founder insight, diligence support, and clearer investor-founder matching.

We are especially interested in founders who are coachable, commercially honest, and moving quickly. Strong founders do not need perfect decks. They need a clear problem, credible evidence, a real market, and the discipline to improve when the gaps are pointed out.

We look for:

- Australian and New Zealand early-stage companies
- Clear founder-market fit
- Evidence of real customer, partner or user demand
- Large or expanding market opportunities
- Defensible products, networks, data, workflows or distribution
- Founders who respond well to diligence and move quickly
- Rounds where Cynthio can improve readiness, matching and investor confidence

We are less interested in:

- Pure idea-stage companies with no evidence of execution
- Founders unwilling to engage with diligence
- Vague market claims without customer proof
- Over-polished decks hiding weak fundamentals
- Rounds where the structure, valuation or legal position cannot be explained clearly

Cynthio works alongside other syndicates, to help founders prepare properly and help investors spend their time on better-matched opportunities.

This syndicate is designed for angels who want better-prepared deal flow, stronger context before investing, and access to founders who are working through the practical gaps that often sit between ambition and investability.

Team

Harry Clark - founder, investor, entrepreneur and llama farmer

Harry leads the capital-market vision, investor relationships, founder network, partner strategy and marketplace execution. His role is to work closely with founders, investors, advisers and ecosystem partners to identify where capital conversations are breaking down, then turn that insight into better founder preparation, sharper investor matching and more useful deal flow.

Cynthio is built around a deliberately human-in-the-loop approach. The team combines founder-side support, investor-side qualification and product infrastructure so that judgement, trust and evidence stay central while repeatable workflows become more scalable over time.

Cynthio has direct exposure to founders, operators, investors, advisers and venture-studio workflows. That matters because the hard part is not building software to manage deals and relationships, it's creating trusted, repeatable behaviour between founders and investors before capital conversations begin.
